That is very good news! I'm sincerely glad you solved the problem. Piotr Wozniacki wrote:OK Guys - I cleaned the registry of all NewBlue, and my machine is back to normal! All 3 NLEs are working but first of all - Resolve! Could it be because this drive has partitions on it (and is a RAID, too)? It's 5 disk, external USB 3.1 enclosure any chance to read the image from it? But when I try to re-image my system drive, the system doesn't even try too look for it on an external USB drive but displays the message "Re-imaging Windows encountered an error", or something to this effect. I do have my system image backup, done with Backup and Recovery (Windows 7) program present in Windows 10. Please - will some good soul try to help me out so that I can avoid installing Windows and all my applications from scratch?!!! Please Since all my other software (engineering systems from Autodesk) are not affected, I suspect it can be undone perhaps some Prores plugin or similar thing has been left over?, and now interferes with "everything video" on my system? How to best check it?!! Fearing disaster, I have created a Windows Restore Point just before installing Avid, so I simply restored my system to the pre-installation state (completed without errors) - but it must have introduced some deeper changes into my extremely clean and stable system - and now no NLE works at all, and Resolve won't use OFX plugins! So I tried, and it sort of does - but isn't very stable. I realize Avid has strict hardware requirements, but read somewhere that in the Legacy mode of my 2990WX Ryzen Master, all is fine and Composer does work. This isn't a problem as they are all just Trials, but it indicates something is seriously wrong with my system and even installing the all new Resolve 16 will not succeed before I nail and repair it.Īnd all this havoc has been introduced by installing the free Avid First version. Nuke, Scratch etc which I'm testing won't even load at all. In Resolve, there is the warning OFX have been deactivated when I try to activate it in the Color page, Resolve just vanish. What a bad luck - several days before Resolve new Release, I did something stupid and now none of my video-related software is corrupt on my new machine, which has been working for em flawlessly (not a single crash)!
